Have you ever found yourself wishing if, for just a moment you could go
back in time to the Wild West days of saloon girls all gussied up for
the rough ridin’, whiskey drinkin’, card playin’ cowboys? Or the dusty,
double barrel shotgun- toting cowgirl? Maybe you would like to be the
gentle, sweet talkin’ towns-woman that runs the local general store and
secretly packs a derringer in her stocking?
Madam Marilyn’s parlor in the barn is the place where your daydreams
become a reality. Madam Marilyn can create your visions and bring them
to life in the Apacheland Barn where her studio is located. Step back in
time and allow Madam Marilyn to fulfill your dreams. Dozens of costumes
await you. Any size will fit. Its fun for the whole family and that
includes your pets as well! These are memories to be enjoyed for a
lifetime.
Madam Marilyn will also photograph you in your street clothes if the
Wild West isn’t your fancy.
The barn holds an assortment of locations and props to photograph your
dreams. There is a saloon, a Victorian parlor, a real live stagecoach, a
chuck wagon and an assortment of antique implements. Madam Marilyn can
also photograph you in the Elvis Chapel, (with or without Elvis) or in
the Museum itself on days that the weather is uncomfortable.
Directly in front of the barn is an old western town, complete with a
bank, barber shop, general store and of course the jail where the
outlaws are locked up. Madam Marilyn has a set of keys to the jail, just
in case one of you cowboy’s gits out of hand.
Behind the barn sits the Assay office, a great place for a photograph
with the majestic Superstition Mountains as a backdrop.
The locations to be photographed are endless, as are the visions of your
dreams.
Come visit Madam Marilyn in the Apacheland barn at the Superstition
Mountain Museum and allow her to transport you back in time to the days
of the Wild West.
